I actually wrote [the Grinnell Purity Test] the summer of '06 while bored with my roommates. We were all there for our research projects. I was a SA for 3 years and I thought it would be a fun way to "educate" my first years on some of the grinnell traditions. I realize I was a little "north" biased because I lived there all four years, but I tried my best to be impartial.
I gave the first years the test at the beginning of the year and then at the end, and believe me did their purity radically plummet. :) it was actually a really useful tool in getting the acclimated and it opened up a lot of discussion. I believe I was a 12 percent on my version of the test, so I definitely had some fun.
